Where their approach stops
Evite's free tier is funded by advertising on the invitation your guests open, and ad removal is a paid upgrade. That is a coherent business model for a large company selling reach — it simply means the free tier and the ad-free tier are different products, and a host who wants a wedding or a memorial invitation to look unadorned has to pay per event to get it.

- Yes. Friends RSVP is free for creating and sending email invitations, and no account is required to create one. You send each guest their own personal link, and replies appear on your event page as they come in.
- Does Friends RSVP put ads on my invitation?
- No. No advertising code runs on the invitation or RSVP page your guests open, on any plan — they see your invitation and nothing else. Our Privacy Policy covers how information is used elsewhere in the product.
- Do my guests need an account to RSVP?
- No. Each guest gets a personal link that opens their invitation directly, and they reply from that page. They are never asked to create a password, download an app, or hand over a phone number.
- What is the main difference between Friends RSVP and Evite?
- Two things. There are no ads on the invitation your guests receive, and neither you nor your guests are required to create an account. Evite's advantages are a far larger template library and printed card ordering, which we do not offer.
- How much does it cost to remove ads from an Evite?
